My only complaint with them in recent years is prices seemed to stay the same while portions got smaller. Likely caused by inflation and understandable some condiments weren't available. I miss the large bfast burritos.

I used to work for Sonic in the 90s-00s. It's gone nowhere but downhill since then. Used to be, the GM was there 60 hours a week. If they weren't, that store was going to someone who would be there 60 hours a week. Now, those same stores, the GM gets less than 10 hours a week. But still takes in full salary. Sonic Drive In in Central Arkansas was the ideal place to work. Every summer the district people would rent the local water park specifically for their FAST FOOD EMPLOYEES. Now they don't even give you a Christmas bonus. Ever since Ridgeway took over, the downhill decline began. Once he moved on, it turned into a nosedive. And now, Sonic has successfully lobbied that their carhops, their fast food employees, are now considered wait staff, even though serving customers is just a fraction of their job. But alas, now they're subject to wait staff wages, even though tips are always shit.
The only thing Sonic really has going for it these days is the ice, which, you can buy your own machine real cheap these days.

Sonic’s drinks are absolutely delicious but the real problem they have is their food… cold fries, chicken tenders are all breading, hot dogs seem undercooked somehow, burgers again cold…. Quality needs to improve because they have a great concept but without good food forget about it
Sonic is my road-trip fast food stop of choice. Consistent quality, which is mediocre at best, just about everywhere.

We had a sonic open up in our town and it died within 3 years. We have mom and pop drive ins still and they are way better than any chain.

I tried going to Sonic a few months ago. I changed my mind about it because the calories for every item were huge. Even for fast-food standards it was bad.
I have no interest in this content yet when one of your videos showed up on my recommended page I clicked on it for no reason and now I can’t stop watching your content.
I remember the sonic by me closed in the mid 2000s but in 2016 they reopened it and honestly I love Sonic. It's my second favorite fast food restaurant after Checkers. I always get their footlong chili dogs with mozzarella sticks and a delicious blast. Their menu is so delicious with combinations that just fit and brings back the retro American vibe.
I love Sonic. But they need to get on the meatless wagon like some of the other guys.

What i LOVE about sonic is that while restaurants like mcdonalds keep down sizing their sandwiches while raising prices, Sonic has not done this. So when i go to sonic i know im gonna get the same size and not half size as the time before. Another plus is that they have such a variety on everything. Their food always taste fresh and no matter how many grandkids i take with me EVERYONE gets what they want. Trusted always, thanks Sonic!

I grew up in Red Bay,, AL. Sonic there opened in the late '70s or early '80s. A few years after they opened, they changed their name from Sonic Drive In to Cardinal Drive In. I don't know why they did that. One reason I don't like it is because the neighboring Mississippi town of Belmont's high school football team is the Cardinals. Another reason I don't like the name Cardinal is because I like the name Sonic better. To me, that Cardinal Drive In is still Sonic. Okay, enough about Red Bay and Sonic.
Has there been a company that rose and fell and rose again, bigger and better than before and then fell again never recovering? That's a video I'd like to see.
They could try opening a more normal restaurant. To dine in with like a 50s theme I guess.

I love me some Sonic! Best BLT, grilled cheese and rare occasion I want a burger they're right up there. Don't even get me started talking about drinking and tater tots.
Too bad I've never been to a Sonic that got my order right. Even the replacements they gave when I said something was wrong. Want mustard instead of mayo? Too bad, that's how we make them. Because the second one had mayo too. Want that sundae shake they're advertising everywhere? Have a regular sundae. Maybe if they paid their staffs better they'd have competent crews.
